I honestly do not remember, but a good guess is I was able to do it. I had good teachers and when you get into a subject and you can understand it and master it well, you get passionate about it. It is easy to get off it otherwise.

I am primarily interested in applied maths. I do not really do “pure” mathematics for mathematics sake. First I was interested in electronics – if you want to design and research advanced designs, you need to know a bit of advanced maths – in my example vector calculus to be able to formualte the problems.
