There is always something new to learn. I love the connection between Maths and the human experience eg why do some women with ovarian cancer not respond to treatment. I can figure ouot who is going to respond and who is not going to respond and help develop new treatments.

I never studied maths directly after secondary school, with the exception of one maths module in first year of college, however, maths has remained a very important part of my professional life as the life of a chemist requires a surprising amount of maths, and if you get it wrong, it can be detrimental to your experiment.
