I didn’t personally, I studied chemistry and physics and did not take biology, however, I did also take applied maths which could be considered a science in its own right. As to whether or not one should take all three sciences, I think that very much varies depending on the person and their goals. Certainly if you love science and you want to do all three, I would encourage you to do that, but certainly would encourage anyone who’s uncertain to keep their options broad when choosing subjects. It is not necessary to do all three sciences in order to study science at third level: most university science courses will have first year modules that bring all students to leaving cert level in all three science disciplines.
